COURSES ON OFFER

THEORY OF ECD

This course covers philosophical, psychological and sociology aspects of early childhood development.

PROFESSIONAL STUDIES

Components of this course include: expressive art, language arts, mathematics and science and equipped with skills of teaching ECD and infant classes.

TEACHING PRACTICE

In the second phase of study students are on the teaching practice under the mentorship of qualified ECD teachers. during this period student are expected to study development patterns of children aged 0-3 years (this is carried out during the community outreach programmes) and experience teaching children aged 3-4 years (ECD A), 4-6 YEARS (ECD B) and infant classes (GRADE 1-3)

 OUTREACH PROGRAMMES

ECD PARA – PROFFESSIONAL IN-SERVICE TRAINNING

The college offers a six-week in-service training of para professional in early childhood development. these are certified by the ministry of primary and secondary education.
