NSFAS Bursary Agreement (NBA)

If you are a First Time Entering Student (FTEN) or a new senior student that has applied to NSFAS for the first time and you are approved for funding, then you need to sign the NSFAS Bursary Agreement form (NBA).

NSFAS Bursary Agreement Steps:

STEP 1

You will receive an email notification to sign online.

STEP 2

The email will contain a link to the online portal, click on the link.

STEP 3

You will be required to input your ID number to receive a One Time Pin (OTP).

STEP 4

The OTP will be sent through an SMS, to the cell phone number registered with NSFAS.

STEP 5

Enter the OTP and sign the NBA online.

Once you have signed you will see a notification stating that the Terms and Conditions of the agreement have been submitted, which indicates that you have signed successfully.

If you have changed your cell phone number send the following supporting documents via email to uds@nsfas.org.za to update your details:

Certified copy of your green bar coded ID or smart card
A completed affidavit specifying that you have changed your cell phone number (include the new and old number on your affidavit).
